A trough sink is a long horizontal basin, usually rectangular, designed to stretch across more of the vanity. It can serve one person generously or two people with separate faucet stations. Commercially, trough-style sinks are also used in multi-user wash areas.
Where it works best: Primary bathrooms, shared kids’ bathrooms, commercial restrooms, salons, offices, restaurants, and high-end hospitality spaces.
